BCCM Tawau was celebrating their anniversary, We had the chance to work on this music video for them. It all started with getting references from many different sources so that we can proceed to work on a treatment for the music video. Based on the genre of the music they are using, which is tango. We then came out with some elements.

 

This phrase “It takes two to tango” is a common idiomatic expression which suggests something in which more than one person or other entity are paired in an inextricably-related and active manner, occasionally with negative connotations.” Therefore, we know that this music video needs some tango dancers in it, and the rest is pretty straightforward; we are looking to create some sorta vintage vibe. Hence the desaturated color grading and very low-key but dramatic sorta lighting.
