KATON® has been dedicated the independent research and production of high-quality fluorocarbon rubber and perfluoroelastomer O-Ring seals for decades. (The FKM brand for fluorocarbon rubber by Chemours in the United States is VITON®, and the FFKM brand for perfluoroelastomer by Chemours is KALREZ®.)
In today's competitive online marketplace, high-quality visuals are crucial for capturing customer attention. This case study explores how we collaborated with KATON® Malaysia, a company in the O ring industry, to create a compelling product video that elevated their presence on Shopee.
They recognized the need for impactful visuals to enhance their online store and contacted us seeking a video and product pictures. Through an initial meeting, we delved into their specific goals and target audience. This understanding laid the foundation for crafting a video strategy tailored to their needs.
Following the initial discussions, we embarked on a research phase. We studied their company and products to gain a comprehensive understanding of their offerings. Leveraging this knowledge, we presented them with multiple rough proposals for the video content. Fortunately, the client resonated with our ideas and decided to partner with us on this project.
Next, we embarked on in-depth discovery sessions with them. Through collaborative discussions, we honed the video concept. Exploring various video styles, we ultimately settled on certain aesthetic which includes some macro shots with a techy visuals. This unique approach aimed to differentiate their product from competitors within the industry, where such video styles were uncommon.
With a clear vision in place, we transitioned to the filming stage. At our studio, we spent several days meticulously experimenting with the product and lighting to achieve a perfect visual blend. This dedication to detail ensured the final video would showcase the product in the best possible light.
We also experiment with different angles for macro shots to find the perfect angle. Since the product is zoomed in so much, we need to smooth out all the edges and make it look visually appealing. You can see that the edited photos are much smoother, of course.
The post-production phase focused on polishing the video and adding finishing touches. We meticulously crafted graphics that seamlessly complemented the techy style we established earlier. Recognizing the importance of monetization on various social media, we ensured the music we included held a royalty-free license. This allows client utilize it for potential advertising campaigns.
The final product was a short, clean, and high-quality video, and multiple carousel post that effectively showcased their products, and we and the client are happy about it.
