Skybord Malaysia specializes in providing custom ergonomic solutions to a professional working environment. Besides providing on-site standing desk installation service, they also aim to provide advice related to health. You can count on them as their team is professionally trained to offer sustainable after-sales maintenance and services.
They are a relatively young company with divisions in Malaysia, the USA, China and Myanmar. Their parent company has more than 30 years of experience in factory automation. Japanese, European and American multinational companies professionally train them in mechanical, electronics and manufacturing engineering.
We're so glad to have this opportunity to work with Skybord Malaysia for their advertisement video shooting. We do understand that since the pandemic started, everyone has been forced to work from home. But that's when we all realized that our back frequently aches due to prolonged sitting in front of the computer for long hours without a proper posture. Working on this project would be worth it to educate more people about getting a standing desk to ease the backaches and improve working efficiency.
At the beginning stage of developing this ad, we asked about their problems and challenges. This is how we came out with a script that talked directly to their customer; they wanted their potential customer to know how to celebrate their success in good health, especially when dealing with ergonomic-related problems such as body aches, neck pain and back pain, etc.
Therefore they wanted to create a video that raises awareness among entrepreneurs or work-from-home workers. Once we have done with the scripting, we begin to come out with a mood board and some previsualize material so that they can at least know what they will get and what the video will feel like.
After we have done with the planning, we put all the planning to work. We go into budgeting, talent casting, set designing and location scouting.
After many delays due to the pandemic, we finally set a date for the shoot around June this year. But before that, we contacted several talents and screened through them to see who fit best.
We then shot the video, and it took several months in post-production to colour-grade and edit them.
